Katie is currently the lead teacher in our Toddler program. She’s from England and has a degree in Early Years and Educational Development. From a young age she loved caring for and encouraging children and enjoyed volunteering in out of school clubs and projects. This broadened her experience and confirmed her commitment to learning and understanding more about giving young children the very best Early Years experience.
After graduation Katie moved to Italy. She was Au Pair to two young children and also worked as an English tutor and an English teacher in a local school. Italy was followed by Canada when Katie moved to Toronto and found her home with Momentum Montessori. She’s worked here for more than 4 years and has loved being Miss Katie in both the Toddler and Preschool rooms.
Katie takes pride in creating a fun and loving environment. She wants your child to be confident to explore and to feel safe and respected. She believes in the importance of developing meaningful bonds with every child in her care.
She respects each child’s unique personality and interests and works hard to create appropriate individual daily activities and programmes with warmth and love.
