With over a decade of experience in education, Fatemeh Azimi Amoli brings deep dedication, leadership, and a wealth of expertise to her role as Principal at Momentum Montessori. Her passion lies in creating enriched, nurturing environments where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Fatemeh holds a PhD in Education and previously worked as a university professor, conducting research in program planning, curriculum design, and teacher training. After moving to Canada, she became an educational researcher at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa and served as a reviewer for child development journals – experiences that deepened her interest in supporting children’s growth and development more directly.
To gain hands-on experience with young learners, Fatemeh earned a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College. She worked as an early childhood educator in several childcare centres before becoming a Program Supervisor, where she mentored staff, supported professional growth, and upheld high standards of care.
To further enhance her administrative leadership, she pursued additional studies in Business Administration – blending educational insight with practical management skills, and building the ideal foundation for her current role as Principal.
Fatemeh’s approach is rooted in Montessori principles, equity, and responsive care. She empowers both children and educators to reach their full potential and believes every child is capable, competent, and full of promise. Meaningful learning, she believes, happens when children feel safe, seen, and supported by their community.
“It’s a privilege to witness the growth and wonder of children each day. At Momentum Montessori, I’m committed to leading with heart, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring each child’s journey is celebrated.”
