Hello! My name is Kanchan Gurung, and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator, proudly graduating with High Honours from Seneca College in 2025. My journey in early childhood education began in my home country, Nepal, where I volunteered with children for several months. That experience sparked my passion and inspired me to continue my education and professional growth in Canada.
I have gained two years of hands-on experience supporting children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarten, and school-age. I believe every child holds unique potential, and with the right guidance, encouragement, and opportunities, they can grow and thrive in their own individual way. I aim to create a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment where children and their families feel safe, belonged, valued, heard, and understood.
At Momentum Montessori, I contribute by bringing compassion, cultural awareness, and a nurturing presence into the classroom, supporting each child’s development while fostering a strong sense of belonging and community.
