Megan earned her degree in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University and while completing it was involved in many different children and youth programs. She spent time tutoring children from an asset oriented approach, and volunteered with the Special Needs Activity Program at Brock. After completing her degree she attended Trent University and studied Primary/Junior Education. While at Trent she completed her First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Studies qualification course to be able to share her passion for Indigenous education with her future students.
